New blog!

Welcome to my new blog! I've been thinking about this awhile for a few reasons.

• Medium's increasingly heavy-handed and frankly annoying monetization strategies.
• Wanting something a bit more personable. Here I can have a speaking page with past talks, (eventually) projects, and link my GitHub.
• Better markdown support + syntax highlighting that doesn't require embedding from other sites.

I've migrated my existing posts from Medium to here, and left them emptied with just a link to the new location. I won't delete my Medium account due to the popularity of some past ones, but it's now just a shell account I squat on to redirect to here.

Hoping to get back into blogging more now that I'm back from my sabbatical, and have a few ideas in the pipeline. Still figuring my way around Ghost as well. See you all soon!
